The Nuremberg Legacy: How the Nazi War Crimes Trials Changed the Course of History

Featuring:
Hon. Norbert Ehrenfreund (Ret.)

Judge Norbert Ehrenfreund, author of “The Nuremberg Legacy: How the Nazi War Crimes Trials Changed the Course of History,” served as an artillery officer in Europe during World War II and later as a reporter for The Stars and Stripes covering the Nuremberg trials. Through these experiences, he came to see the law as mankind’s most effective tool in the quest to establish universal justice. Judge Ehrenfreund, a Superior Court trial judge for more than 30 years, recipient of the Bronze Star and the National Conference of State Trial Judges’ Award of Judicial Excellence, will discuss the Nuremberg legacy and its effect on international and domestic law.

This compelling program is open to guests, especially school-age children studying this period in history.
