A typical article ranges from 1,000 to 2,500 words, though this is a flexible guideline. Authors may use either Yellowbook (California Style Manual) or Bluebook (federal) citation formatting, depending on which best suits the subject matter and jurisdiction discussed. To maintain clarity and readability, footnotes are not permitted; all citations and explanatory material should be incorporated directly into the body of the article. Association of Business Trial Lawyers, Orange County Chapter (\u201cABTL-OC\u201d), together with the author or authors of an article published in the ABTL OC Report (\u201cArticle\u201d), jointly own all copyrights and other intellectual property rights in the Article, with the following permissions and limitations:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Any author may publish the Article in any medium, including law firm websites, provided that the version published states that the Article was first published in the ABTL OC Report and identifies the issue of the ABTL Report in which the Article appeared.&nbsp;
