Legal Challenges to Generative AI
The past year has seen the release of new tools that use artificial intelligence (AI) and large language models (LLMs) to generate content, including writing and pictures. Lawsuits have been filed challenging the processes by which these AI tools were created and the output that they generate, raising copyright, privacy, and contractual claims.
Our panel will provide background on the creation and functionality of these AI tools, and address the various kinds of claims that have been and may be filed as these AI tools, and the use of them by the public, continue to proliferate.
